**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage QA/QC activities for Shipping, consistent with NAKILAT policies
* Perform inspections of shipbuilder's facilities to confirm QA/QC compliance and report in accordance with NAKILAT requirements
* Monitor the effectiveness of shipyard initiatives for quality assurance
* Prepare and implement audit programs
* Ensure overall audit compliance
* Coordinate lessons learned and document all lessons learned in a systemized fashion
* Utilize and implement 'leading indicator' and 'KPI' tools to support management in monitoring performance
* Provide monthly reports to the Shipbuilding Director and chair the monthly Quality Leadership Meeting

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science
* Minimum twelve (12) years' experience in the oil and gas industry, including involvement in design and construction or major conversion of large vessels
* In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, quality policy, and implementation
* Knowledge of the ship design and construction business
* Excellent written and spoken English language skills
* Good management and motivational skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with figures and present summary figures in a clear, concise manner
