**Job Overview:**

LxbfYeaa is seeking a highly skilled Category Strategist to lead the development and implementation of category strategies that drive additional value for the organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Manage and optimize assigned categories according to the company-wide Procurement strategy.
  2. Develop and implement multi-year category strategies, aligning with strategic business objectives and communicating the strategy to stakeholders.
  3. Responsible for strategic procurement processes within the category, including supplier portfolio management, market analytics, and RfX & sourcing of larger value orders.
  4. Present category or individual sourcing strategies in front of the Tender Committee or leadership if requested.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent required.
  • Accredited Procurement/Supply chain certification preferred.

**Work Experience:**

  • 8 or more years of experience in Procurement & Supply Chain Management as a category manager or similar role.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within a multinational company.

**Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Computer literate (Word/ Excel/ Power-point, MS Project, MS-Visio) Oracle Fusion preferred.
  • Business fluent English required, Business fluent Arabic preferred.
