About the Position

  • This Senior Construction Supervisor role requires a seasoned professional to lead the Topsides & STP contractor team field planning, coordination, and execution activities within designated area of responsibility.

Key Duties

">
  1. Oversee contractor team activities to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  2. Evaluate contractor performance in terms of safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
  3. Develop and provide routine progress reports to management and update S-curve performance with analysis.
  4. Guarantee contractor's Safety and Quality program is developed, implemented, and sustained at site.
  5. Assess construction deliverables such as Method statements, construction procedures, Lifting schemes, etc. as per company specifications.
  6. Foster a safety-conscious culture by setting an example for the Offshore Project Team and the Offshore contractor and its sub-contractors and site vendors.
  7. Ensure contractor implements and sustains HSES project deliverables.
  8. Represent the Offshore Project team as construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of contractor team and its subcontractor(s) in their area of responsibility.
  9. Communicate construction activities, progress, areas of concern, and mitigating actions to management and participate in weekly construction discipline review meetings.
  10. Implement execution activities and ensure development, review, and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution.
  11. Review and approve contractor's construction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning, and method statements and participate in constructability reviews, HAZID workshops during construction.
  12. Identify and organize all required construction support in liaison with the Offshore Topsides & STP.
  13. Evaluate construction risks and assist in providing mitigation measures. Report Risks to management and review the EPCI level 3 schedule prepared by the Contractor.
  14. Monitor site material handling, preservation, and warehousing procedures with respect to their area to facilitate construction progress.

About the Ideal Candidate

">
  • Engineering/Construction degree with relevant experience or Recognized Diploma in Engineering/Construction management with prior work experience.
  • Valid NACE or Equivalent level III Coating certificate.
  • At least 10 years of experience in coating, insulation, and architectural works of offshore Jackets, Topsides, Pipelines, and Sub-Sea structures.
  • Extensive experience in the preparation, fabrication, and construction of Architectural works of offshore buildings and coating and insulation of offshore structures including piping and Equipment with EPCI contractors.
  • Supervision of TSA coating works experience.
  • Able to supervise a multi-cultural team committed to meeting project objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
