We are seeking a seasoned investment professional to join our real assets team as a Manager. Based in Doha, Qatar, this role will be focused on fund investments across infrastructure, natural resources, and real estate.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough research and analysis of new investment opportunities, considering macro and industry trends in line with our investment mandate.
- Evaluate and review offers for participation in new investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with our department's objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with general partners, advisors, and industry contacts to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, implementing strategic initiatives to enhance value.
- Benchmark investment opportunities against peers and comparable companies/transactions to ensure optimal returns.
- Demonstrate expertise in the infrastructure and natural resources asset classes, including understanding the key factors influencing risk/return profiles and constructing a well-diversified portfolio.
- University degree required; MBA or other advanced financial qualification desirable.
- Relevant work experience in buy-side roles, specifically in fund investments covering unlisted real assets sectors (infrastructure, natural resources, or real estate).
- Ability to relocate full-time to Doha, Qatar.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately QAR 350,000 - QAR 450,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance, health insurance, and other perks.
