Job Summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a highly experienced MEP/HVAC Superintendent to lead the execution of MEP/HVAC services in Process and Non-Process Buildings construction. The successful candidate will provide leadership, management, and oversight of the Contractor and its sub-contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily management and oversight of the Contractor and its sub-contractors for MEP/HVAC services in Process and Non-Process Buildings construction.
  • Appraise the performance of the Contractor in terms of safety, quality, and schedule.
  • Supervise the assigned Onshore Project's MEP/HVAC Construction personnel.
  • Prepare and provide routine verbal and written progress reports to Line Manager.
  • Coordinate with Main Con, Sub cons, and 3rd party vendors to manage the execution of MEP/HVAC works and equipment installation.
  • Ensure compliance with Ashrae and CIBSE standards and guidelines.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in dealings with all parties.
  • Effective team player who collaborates and communicates concisely with the project team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or bachelor's degree of Science in Buildings Services or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years broad experience in all phases and in Oil & Gas mega project in MEP/HVAC installation in Process and Non-process buildings.
  • Membership of Ashrae, IET, CIBSE.
  • Experience in Major Construction Projects (including brown-field work) with total capital expenditure > USD$1B.
  • Worldwide experience working with MEP/HVAC contractors and subcontractors, those involved in the construction of Onshore oil, gas, chemical, and/or petrochemical plant facilities.
  • Experience working within a PMT Organization. Middle East working experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to review and comment on technical documents.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
