Main Responsibilities
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with team members and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating and scheduling work activities to meet deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work progress, including hours worked and materials used.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during work operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and suggesting changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Providing feedback and coaching to team members to enhance their performance and skills.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of training programs for team members.
  • Participating in incident investigations and contributing to root cause analysis.
  • Contributing to the development and revision of standard operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer).
  • Proven experience in supervising a team of pipe fitters/technicians in shipyard, new build, or offshore settings.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience, including 3 years of leadership roles.
