Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Siemens. As an Administrative Assistant - Shipping and Receiving, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Assist in the accurate and timely entry of shipping and receiving data, consigned materials, cycle counts, and raw material shipments into various databases.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and maintain office supplies, computer supplies, and warehouse supplies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and process paperwork for finished goods shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with picking up orders for raw materials on the consignment area and sending Goods Shipment Orders (GSO) for all raw materials shipped to Mexico and Goods Receipts (GR) in SAP.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Connect with buyers to resolve short orders, discrepancies, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents to support business decisions and operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this position.
