Our client, a leading company in Doha and the Middle East, specializes in plastic packaging solutions and is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee their warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases, strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and the ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
The role involves strategically managing the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision, overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations, and setting up layout and ensuring efficient space utilization.
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for initiating, coordinating, and enforcing optimal operational policies and procedures, maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security, and managing stock control and reconciling with data storage systems.
In addition, the successful candidate will prepare annual budgets, liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies, plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, ability to manage staff, decision-making and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
