Job Description:

The Communications SME will be responsible for ensuring the integration of communication systems with key stakeholders, including the Expeditionary Communications Squadrons, Expeditionary Security Forces Squadrons, and Designated Personnel at 9AF (AFCENT). This involves facilitating monthly meetings to discuss plans, design, installation, and accreditation of security, communications, and technology systems.

Main Duties:
  • Coordinate with Air Force C4I planners, programmers, and technicians to ensure scheduled work is integrated into the overall program.
  • Document discussion outcomes, including identified risks, issues, and recommended courses of action in meeting minutes.
  • Manage issues through resolution and document finalized outcomes in subsequent meeting minutes.
  • Develop and manage a Cybersecurity Assurance Plan that fully integrates cybersecurity elements into the design and construction phases of the program.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience or commensurate experience.
  • Clearance required: Secret.
  • Minimum three years of experience performing similar duties, including inside plant operation.
  • Maintenance experience, installation, testing, and repair of telecommunications equipment and systems within the last ten years.
