Job Title: Ramen Restaurant Server

The Ninja Ramen Restaurant is seeking a skilled and friendly Ramen Restaurant Server to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Service
    1. Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival.
    2. Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and communicate them to the kitchen.
    3. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
    4. Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
  2. Dining Area Management
    1. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
    2. Clean and set-up dining areas as needed.
    3. Monitor and restock service supplies as necessary.
  3. Order Accuracy and Timeliness
    1. Ensure orders are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
    2. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure special requests and dietary restrictions are accommodated.
  4. Sales and Transactions
    1. Present menus and provide information about menu items, including specials and promotions.
    2. Upsell additional products when appropriate.
    3. Handle orders, cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
    4. Work closely with all other staff, and management to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
    5. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
    6. Follow instructions from the Restaurant Supervisor and Manager.
  5. Health and Safety
    1. Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
    2. Ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
  6. Japanese Culture and Cuisine
    1. Educate guests about Japanese culture and cuisine, providing information about menu items and dining traditions.
    2. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of Japanese culture and cuisine.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus.
