Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service in all public areas of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests in public spaces.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all assigned public areas, including bathrooms, floors, and other high-touch areas.
  • Report Maintenance Needs: Identify and report any necessary maintenance or repairs to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Assist with Deep Cleaning: Assist with deep cleaning of areas or fixtures as scheduled or requested.
  • Manage Lost and Found: Return all lost and found items to the Housekeeping office as per policy.
  • Attend Daily Briefings: Attend daily briefings and training sessions as scheduled.
  • Use Cleaning Chemicals and Supplies: Use cleaning chemicals and supplies in a responsible and efficient manner to avoid waste.
  • Maintain Equipment: Clean and maintain all equipment used in good condition at all times.
  • Set Up and Maintain Work Areas: Set up and maintain work areas as per established standards, restock supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to company and departmental policies, service standards, and Code of Conduct.
  • Participate in Recycling Program: Participate in the company recycling program and follow a strict discipline to reduce, re-use, and recycle wherever possible.
Requirements
  • Secondary Education: Secondary education is required. Relevant work experience in the housekeeping department, especially in five-star hotels, is preferred.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and a professional and dignified image are essential.
  • Knowledge of Cleaning Chemicals and Machinery: Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and machinery operation is preferred.
  • Positive Attitude and Teamwork: A positive attitude, ability to function well as part of a team, and ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment are required.
  • Good Communication and Organizational Skills: Good communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Responsible and Reliable: A responsible and reliable individual who can work with minimum supervision is required.
  • Ability to Focus on Guest Needs: Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times, interact with guests respectfully, naturally, and efficiently.
  • Knowledge and Experience in Maintaining Materials, Fabric, and Flooring: Knowledge and experience in maintaining materials, fabric, and flooring are preferred.
  • Detail-Oriented and Disciplined: A detail-oriented and disciplined individual who can follow schedules and rules is required.
  • Good Understanding of Raffles & Fairmont Vision, Values, and Standards: A good understanding of the Raffles & Fairmont vision, values, and standards is essential.
