Payroll General Cashier

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Management Specialist to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our cash handling processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile all cash transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage and maintain a documented inventory of all cash handling equipment and supplies.
- Conduct regular audits of cash handling procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain reports to track cash handling activity and identify trends and anomalies.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of cash handling processes with other financial operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cash handling, financial operations, or related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
