About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our sports events and tourism development initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize commercial performance of our sports and events packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver sports packages that include flight, hotel, and ticket components, in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage the supply of tickets from our sponsorship department for holidays packages and loyalty programs.
  • Develop and implement product plans to ensure correct loading and content is hosted within our systems.
  • Drive commercial strategy and improve commercial performance of our sports portfolio.
  • Responsible for key product development projects, providing suggestions and advice on the direction of our sports portfolio.
  • Regularly benchmark package pricing to ensure a competitive proposition at all times.
  • Build a product plan and timeline to support commercial needs of the business, including packages associated with FIFA, Formula One, Paris St Germain, Inter Milan, and other Qatar Airways-sponsored teams and events.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to develop and deliver products to market in line with the plan.
  • Oversee statistical analysis and product performance to ensure increased profitability of sports packages.
  • Be accountable for KPIs and budgets for measuring success, providing commercial modeling and sales forecasting of sporting event products.
  • Identify opportunities for creating travel packages and experiences across our sports sponsorships portfolio, maximizing use of agreed rights and benefits across different properties.
  • Create packages that enable international and domestic access to sporting events, working closely with internal teams and external parties to maximize sales of sporting events held in Qatar and assets worldwide.
