We are seeking a Subsea Robotics Technician to join our team at PPL Dynamics.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operation of our ROV systems. This will involve performing routine maintenance and repairs, conducting fault finding and repair, and assisting with system certification and mobilisation/de-mobilisation activities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on ROV systems and equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve system faults.
  • Support the ROV Superintendent and Workshop Manager with operational matters.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or vocational qualification (electricity and/or hydraulics and/or mechanics) and industry recognised certificates.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in ROV related services.
  • Excellent knowledge of electronics and high voltage electrical equipment.
  • Understanding of hydraulic equipment preferred.
