Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior People Operations Manager to join our team at PPL Dynamics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the development and implementation of department strategy, projects, initiatives, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Strategy and Operations
    • Develop and implement department strategy, projects, initiatives, and systems to ensure effective and efficient operations.
    • Manage and lead all departmental projects and initiatives to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Employee Records and Information
    • Manage and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of all company and employee records and information in all available formats.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding employee records and information.
  • Disciplinary Actions and Grievance Issues
    • Manage and lead all disciplinary actions and grievance issues by performing proper investigation and evaluation to ensure fairness and equality.
    • Ensure that all disciplinary actions and grievance issues are handled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Counselling and Support
    • Provide counselling and support to line managers and employees to ensure effective and proactive communication across departments on policies, procedures, and services.
    • Ensure that all employees receive the necessary support and guidance to perform their duties effectively.
  • Department Documentation
    • Supervise department documentation preparation by People Operations Officers to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    • Ensure that all departmental documents are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Recruitment and Employment
    • Manage and lead all intermediate and senior recruitments full cycles including Job Description preparation, Job posting, Shortlisting, Evaluation & Testing, Interview Assessments, Offer Preparation, Offer negotiation, Contract Preparation, Probation Period Evaluation and Employment Confirmation.
    • Ensure that all recruitment processes are fair, transparent, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Employment Status Validity
    • Manage all employment status validity (Work Permits, Sponsorship Transfers/Cancellation/ QID).
    • Ensure that all employment status validity is up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Performance Management
    • Lead the effective implementation of performance management processes and systems and the link/relation to the Learning and Development strategy.
    • Ensure that all performance management processes and systems are fair, transparent, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Department Reports
    • Develop and maintain periodic departmental reports for management updating related metrics.
    • Ensure that all departmental reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Employee Handbook
    • Assist in maintaining and updating the Employee Handbook.
    • Ensure that the Employee Handbook is up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in People Operations or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
