Role Overview

The AMI Operator role is a key position within lxbfYeaa's Utility Metering Department. As an AMI Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective execution of operational work activities, including monitoring and managing Work Orders, performing skilled duties in support of the AMI team, and assisting in preparing technical reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and managing Work Orders issued as part of Roll Out & daily operations.
  • Performing skilled duties in support of the (AMI) team, including reading, building, installing, activating, inspecting, diagnosing, replacing, and routing AMI meters.
  • Assisting in preparing technical reports related to command center Operations, in a timely manner.
  • Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving operation problems.


Requirements

Candidates should have a solid understanding of computer software engineering, operation and maintenance, and customer service. Experience with Siemens Head End System (Siemens UDIS) and proficiency in MS Office are highly preferred. Additionally, a strong ability to communicate with end-user customers and diagnose meter communication issues is essential.
