About the Role
KEO is a leading creative enterprise that values innovation and excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BIM/COBie Specialist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for ensuring the implementation of Client BIM and CAD strategies, standards, and tools within the organization and its partners, with a focus on the Client's Rail Long Distance Projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the Requirements and Plans for an integrated BIM/COBie Delivery of the projects, incorporating them into the tender documents, and following up on the delivery.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior BIM/COBie Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Understanding the BIM/COBie scope of work for subcontractors on program projects.
  2. Driving standardization and quality of multiple projects BIM and COBie deliverables.
  3. Monitoring BIM models and asset/COBie data for quality, data integrity, and content throughout the project delivery process and at specific project delivery milestones.
  4. Ensuring BIM models meet expectations stated in the project BIM Execution Plan and are consistent with Client BIM guidelines.
  5. Ensuring COBie data is compliant to Client Asset Management Codification Standards and the Maintenance Management System requirements.
  6. Performing quality reviews of submitted models and COBie data as they relate to the contract documents.
  7. Setting up and maintaining the Common Data Environment with all projects BIM data to enable rapid coordination.
  8. Creating integrated/federated models for visual coordination.
  9. Producing high-quality visualizations/renders for meetings and presentations.
  10. Providing support to Senior BIM Specialist as required.
  11. Supporting, assisting, and training project staff members in BIM.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience as a BIM Specialist/Coordinator.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience of COBie and Maintenance Management Systems.
  3. Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
  4. Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Information Management, or related discipline.
  5. Working experience in international teams.
  6. Previous railway experience desirable.
  7. Completed BIM software training (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360 Glue, Autodesk Vault preferred).
  8. Extensive hands-on experience with industry standard BIM technology including design, review, and collaboration tools.
  9. Extensive experience of extracting COBie data from BIM.
  10. Competency using Autodesk Suite of products, with particular focus on Revit, Navisworks, and A360.
  11. Competency in setting up a Common Data Environment (CDE) for coordination of program projects and contractors.
  12. Knowledge of Bentley CAD/BIM products.
  13. Knowledge of 4D, 5D and 6D BIM processes is desirable.
  14. Familiarity with international standards such as BS1192, IFC, and COBie.
  15. Familiarity with construction concepts, practices, and procedures.
