About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Duncan & Ross. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the safety and functionality of structures such as buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and review the design of various types of structures, including bridges, tunnels, underpasses, retaining walls, car parks, and public infrastructure-related buildings/structures.
  2. Produce detailed design drawings, calculations reports, and specifications.
  3. Supervise other engineers and CAD team members as per project task assigned.
  4. Provide technical guidance to younger engineers and support other engineering activities as required.
  5. Utilize standard engineering principles, techniques, and analyses to complete conventional, moderately complex assignments within the structure discipline.
  6. Working knowledge of engineering software packages associated with the structures discipline.
  7. Track the progress of assigned designs and report to senior and principal engineers on status and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering and 3+ years of related work experience.
  2. Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is highly preferred.
  3. Possession of internationally recognized engineering licenses such as PE, SE, and CEng is highly preferred.
  4. Must be MME registered.
  5. Work experience must be related to hands-on design of structures.
  6. Intimate knowledge of software such as Midas Civil, CSi Bridge, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
  7. Familiarity with Revit software.
  8. Business-level English language skills sufficient to produce well-written reports and hold articulate verbal communications.
