Manager Service Delivery

Position Overview

The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is based out of Doha, Qatar and is responsible for overseeing all operational activities for our customers based in Qatar, in particularly, QatarGas, ensuring all events are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities- Maintain in-country support services (Admin, Operational Requirements, accommodation, etc.).- Support Qatar regulations and licensing which are critical for successful business operations.- Joint develop strategic and commercial plans, capital expenditures, capital efficiency, budgetary & forecasting in conjunction with all Business unit management to provide management in-line with Speedcast defined objectives, policies & procedures, vendors management and partnerships management.- Support the increase of sustainable growth within the Country and support new opportunities whilst promoting continuous improvement and working towards Speedcast goals.- Maintain practical and commercial operating model with Harris Salam.- Document and report all agreed rates.- Track and Report all OPEX costs on a monthly cadence.- Support and engage with Datanet to fulfil the following objectives:
- Ensure Field Team are able to work autonomously to the Speedcast quality standard and in adherence with Speedcast processes and best practise.- Work with Speedcast Field Team to maintain a measure of local Field performance.- Maintain good relationships with key QatarGas stakeholders to a level that supports transparency.- Ensure that any internal QatarGas imposed delays that Speedcast can influence are minimized.- Regular reporting (TBD) to QatarGas- Accountable for Speedcast timeliness and quality performance in the implementation and commissioning of new remote sites.- Support QatarGas with the Successful FAT of any Rig Equipment.- Full testing of Layer-2 solution and support QatarGas in any remote design/challenges.- Successfully deliver any new rigs.- Use any spare time to advance Speedcast position in the Qatar market with key prospects.- Assist Speedcast Account Managers with client visits when possible and seek additional Qatar based opportunities.- Meet with existing and potential customers with a view to review service quality and market Speedcast solutions.- Weekly reporting to Speedcast Management.- Maintain an overview and responsibility for all Operational activities in-country.- Execute operations strategy with the relevant management capabilities, processes, tools and metrics.- Support and manage local licensing, regulation(s); working with legal counsel when required.- Create a relationship and experience for customers that differentiates Speedcast.- Enhance Team communication and engagement.- Responsible for ensuring Speedcast complies with all Country regulations.- Support Sales plans for Qatar to achieve all financial objectives.- Foster valuable business partner relationships in order to meet customer service obligations.- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in meeting customer needs.- Recognise areas within the business that require improvement and ensure these are addressed following correct procedures.- Keep teams accountable for deliverables and motivate them to meet / exceed KPI’s.- Communicate with peers and subordinates on upcoming/ongoing operations.- Support the development of an inspirational environment where team engagement is essential and moral is high.- Maintain performance / productivity standards and drive process compliance.- Mentor and motivate direct and indirect reports to achieve continuous improvement and optimal performance, thereby contributing to business efficiency.- Manage vendors and partners to deliver business- Support Speedcast core values, always leading by example.- Other duties as directed by Operations Management.

**Requirements**:
- 10+ years of experience in IT and Telecommunications business units.- 3+ years in a Supervisory / Managerial role.- Consultative, People Management and Leadership skills.- Financial understanding with advanced business acumen.- Excellent Computer skills.- Ability to multi-task, highly organised having demonstrated ability to prioritise.- Strong communicator both orally and in written form.- Demonstrated ability to understand the company “vision” and communicate to a team.- Vendors management and partners management.- Excellent understanding of Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.- Background in ITIL preferred.
