**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs on refrigeration systems
- Monitor and adjust system operations to ensure efficient and safe performance
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex refrigeration issues
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in refrigeration technology
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on refrigeration systems

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in refrigeration preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician
- Strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems and their components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using various tools and equipment related to refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to refrigeration systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work on-call and overtime when required
