The incumbent will support QNB's international growth strategy, by leading a multi team effort that will identify acquisition objectives in the various target markets targeted in the strategy. These targets if approved will then be steered by the M&A team through the acquisition process together with the Senior Management team and the various functions from due diligence through to completion of acquisition/merger.**Education & Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelor/ Master degree University Graduate/preferred with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field of study
- At least 18years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA, CMA, CFA etc. is a plus.
- Minimum of 10-15 years' experience in M&A especially buy side.

**Required Special Skills**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Understanding of the relevant laws, regulations, and practices.
- Knowledge of financial reporting processes and related pronouncements, including but not limited to IFRS, IAS etc.
- Well-developed analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver under pressure.
- Ability to build relationships across the organization to deliver results.
