Head Chocolate Maker

We are seeking a passionate and experienced **Head Chocolate Maker** to lead our chocolate production team. This role involves overseeing the entire chocolate-making process—from sourcing ingredients to final presentation—while maintaining the highest quality standards and driving innovation in flavors, textures, and presentation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Chocolate Production**:
- Oversee and execute all stages of chocolate production (tempering, molding, enrobing, filling).
- Ensure consistency in texture, flavor, and appearance across batches.
- Innovate and develop new chocolate recipes and seasonal product lines.
- **Team Management**:
- Supervise, train, and motivate junior chocolatiers and kitchen staff.
- Coordinate production schedules and delegate tasks efficiently.
- **Quality Control & Compliance**:
- Ensure all chocolates meet brand quality and hygiene standards.
- Monitor temperature controls, ingredient freshness, and shelf life.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and HACCP standards.
- **Inventory & Cost Management**:
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products.
- Monitor usage and reduce wastage.
- Collaborate with procurement on high-quality ingredient sourcing.
- **Innovation & R&D**:
- Stay updated with global chocolate trends and techniques.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams on product launches.
- Conduct taste tests and customer feedback sessions for improvement.
**Required Qualifications & Experience**:
- Minimum **5+ years of experience** in chocolate making or luxury pastry production.
- Certification in Culinary Arts, Pâtisserie, or Chocolate Making (e.g., Ecole Chocolat, Barry Callebaut, etc.) is a plus.
- Expertise in tempering, molding, and artisan chocolate techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
