Position: BMS Operator

Location: Qatar

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and operate the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure efficient functioning of building systems such as HVAC, lighting, security, and fire alarm systems.
- Perform routine checks and inspections of BMS equipment, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and control panels, to identify and address any issues or abnormalities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and alerts generated by the BMS, investigate the root cause of alarms, and take appropriate corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians and contractors to schedule preventive maintenance activities for BMS components and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules.
- Generate reports detailing system performance, energy consumption, equipment status, and alarms/incidents for management review and analysis.
- Assist in the implementation of energy conservation measures and optimization strategies to improve building efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with facility managers and engineers to implement system modifications, upgrades, and enhancements to meet changing operational requirements.
- Provide training and support to building occupants and facility staff on BMS operation, including user interfaces, alarm handling procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of BMS operations, maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and performance data in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in building automation systems to recommend improvements and enhancements to the BMS.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation, or related field.
- Proven experience as a BMS Operator or similar role, preferably in commercial or industrial facilities.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) software, protocols, and hardware components.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing BMS equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems and their integration with BMS platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to system monitoring and maintenance.
- Relevant certifications or training in BMS operation and maintenance would be advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to QAR4,000.00 per month
