We are seeking a skilled and experienced **BMS Operator** to join our team. As a BMS Operator, you will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Building Management System (BMS) across our facilities. Your role will be critical in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of HVAC, lighting, electrical, and other building systems. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate, monitor, and maintain the BMS system to ensure optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, fire alarm, and other building systems.
- Respond promptly to system alarms and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, including HVAC equipment, air handling units, pumps, and lighting systems, ensuring compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to schedule and perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to BMS systems and equipment.
- Ensure that the BMS system is configured for maximum energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Generate reports on system performance, energy consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of system diagnostics, repairs, and other technical activities.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as required.
- Assist with emergency response and systems recovery during outages or emergencies.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of **5 years of experience** as a BMS Operator, Building Systems Technician, or similar role in facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and HVAC systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining building automation systems, including DDC (Direct Digital Controls) and other automation protocols.
- Familiarity with energy management principles and building sustainability practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during emergency situations.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and system diagrams.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification or formal training in BMS systems or HVAC is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in energy management (e.g., Certified Energy Manager - CEM) or building systems technology is a plus.
- Experience with energy monitoring software and systems.
- Previous experience in a commercial or industrial building environment.
