Chief Financial Officer

**Position Overview**: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for managing revenues of up to QAR 1 billion. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a strong track record in financial stewardship, capable of providing insights that drive growth and enhance operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Strategy Development**:

- Formulate and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
- Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-term planning and new program introductions.

**Financial Reporting & Compliance**:

- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with Qatari regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Manage relationships with auditors, ensuring timely completion of audits and adherence to regulatory requirements.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads to align with corporate goals.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

**Risk Management**:

- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial, operational, and strategic risks.
- Ensure robust internal controls are in place and regularly reviewed.

**Investment Management**:

- Evaluate investment opportunities and manage the organization’s capital structure.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders.

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Encourage professional development and training within the finance department.

**Strategic Decision Support**:

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making.
- Participate in key strategic initiatives and special projects, including mergers and acquisitions.

**Market Analysis**:

- Analyze market trends and economic conditions to inform financial planning and investment strategies.
- Provide leadership in understanding competitive dynamics and market positioning.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Minimum qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA). Additional international certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in a financial management role, ideally as a CFO or in a similar capacity.
- Must have experience handling revenues of up to QAR 1 billion and navigating complex financial environments.
- Proven track record of managing revenues in a similar role, preferably within a group of companies.
- International finance experience, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.
- Executive experience with SaaS business models and their associated revenue recognition.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations specific to Qatar and the region.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a strong understanding of data analytics.

Pay: QAR35,000.00 - QAR40,000.00 per month
