Sr. Lead Estimator

The Role
The main objective of Sr. Estimator is to prepare a realistic and competitive estimate of the cost of labor and material required for handling the project, in order to enable the management to evaluate the economic viability and decide upon the participation in the tender. Key Responsibilities: - Compile all tender bids, ensure it is complete in all aspects of pricing, submission and check all estimating and tendering aspects relevant to the project implementation in the region. - Ensure the estimators prepare upon award of the project, a summary of the job including cost of labor, material, quantity and quality of the material required strictly as per the specification of the client to ensure that they are as per the prescribed parameters. - Ensure a summary of the job is prepared, including cost of labor, material, quantity and quality of the material required strictly as per the specification of the client to ensure that they are as per the prescribed parameters. - Assist the Tendering & Pre Construction Manager during post tender negotiation / clarification with clients so as to arrive at a tangible decision on tenders with a view to obtain the job with maximum mark ups and profits. - Update construction cost database to order and track purchased materials, labor and supplies needed for projects and monitors, reviews and oversees contracts submitting bids that determine cost and stated duration of project. - Updates unit Rates, material cost databases, labor and construction equipment rates to keep them current & prepares construction estimates.

**Requirements**:

- BSc in QS / HD in QS/ Bachelors in Civil Engineering. - 7-10 year of experiences (Middle East preferably) with hands-on involvement in commercial & quantity surveying practices on large construction / interior fit out projects. - Experience on estimating and tendering process, site measurement, and costing, budgeting and general contract administration. - Knowledge and experience in the use of various Forms of Contract, Good Experience in AUTO CAD/MS Office and CCS (Candy) would be preferred but not essential. - Excellent Communication Skills - Driving License is an added advantage
