Restaurant Team Leader

**Starting salary**: QAR 2,800 PLUS free shared accommodation and transportation

**Position Overview**:We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Restaurant Team Leader to support the restaurant manager in coordinating daily operations and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. As the Team Leader, you will assist in managing the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring excellent service and efficient collaboration to deliver top-notch hospitality.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Staff Supervision and Support:

- Assist in supervising and guiding the restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
- Provide training and ongoing coaching to enhance the team's skills and customer service delivery.
- Support the manager in creating a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic.

Customer Service Excellence:

- Interact with guests, ensuring they have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally and proactively.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve any service issues and exceed guest expectations.

Operational Coordination:

- Assist in coordinating restaurant operations, including seating arrangements, reservations, and order flow.
- Work with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food orders.
- Monitor table turnovers and manage waiting lists during peak hours.

Quality Control and Standards:

- Ensure all aspects of service, from food presentation to table settings, meet the restaurant's high standards.
- Conduct regular checks of the dining area to maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and guest comfort.

Sales and Upselling:

- Collaborate with the waitstaff to promote menu items and daily specials, contributing to increased sales.
- Encourage suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and revenue.

Cash Handling and Reporting:

- Support the manager in handling billing and cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining records and preparing reports related to sales and customer feedback.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and food and beverage service techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Proactive and solution-oriented attitude to handle challenges and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the restaurant's operating hours.

**Salary**: From QAR2,800.00 per month
