Solution Designer

**Role Objective**:

- To assume responsibility for a successful solution design and implementation that meets clients’ expectations utilizing in-depth knowledge of solution architecture and technology.
- Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
- Resolving technical problems as they arise.

**Detailed Roles and Responsibilities**:
**OPERATIONAL**
- Assist the project team in designing overall project solutions in the Solutions Architecture SBUbyh project and business objectives.
- Conduct interviews with the client to discuss business requirements, key challenges, availability/scalability needs and ease of administration and maintenance.
- Design overall system and solution architecture, considering system integration and implementation issues.
- Establish system design, policies and standards and maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the different programmes.
- Identify common best practices for architecting solutions and components.
- Analyze existing use-case, analysis, design, and deployment models and describe how they are organized.
- Create and generate model diagrams, subsystems, subsystem interfaces, and dependencies.
- Establish preliminary project development schedule, estimates, conceptual/logical architectures, system documents, testing analysis and test plans.
- Assiste with respect to installation, integration and tuning ofintegrated solutionss.
- Assist with responding to technical queries on RFPs/RFQs.
- Work in conjunction with the Technical Architect to finda resolution to any issues encountered during the implementation of the customer solution.
- Collaborate with the Software Specialists and the Technical Architect to select appropriate design solutions and ensure the compatibility of system components.
- Provide technical support for the client throughout all stages of product development.
- Assist Malomatia’s sales team to specify,describinge andestimatinge proposed solutions as part of a commercial offer.
- Identify risks inherent to particular technology solutions.
- Research, analyze, recommend and implement new technologies, standards, processes, tools and techniques.
- Review other solution designs to select appropriate technology, ensure efficient use of resources and ensure integration of multiple systems and technologies.
- Demonstrate strong credibility with clients and colleagues, by establishing strong working relationships with senior client staff, and become established as a trusted Solution Architectural Adviser.
- Research, evaluate and stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.
- Take an active part in the development and review of internal business processes.
- Carry out all other duties within the area of Solution/Design Architecture as and when requested by the management.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- University degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized university.

**Experience**:

- About 7-10 years of related experience of which a minimum of 5-6 years should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.

**Salary**: QAR20,000.00 - QAR25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
