**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Strategy & Planning**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Forecast procurement needs and manage purchasing budgets effectively.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues proactively.
- **Tendering & Contracting**:

- Prepare and manage Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), and tender documents.
- Review, negotiate, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all procurement activities.
- **Cost Control & Negotiation**:

- Analyze procurement costs and seek opportunities for cost reduction.
- Lead price negotiations and terms to ensure the best value for the company.
- **Material & Equipment Procurement**:

- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, especially for construction, engineering, or manufacturing projects.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure correct specifications are procured.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Improve procurement processes and systems to increase efficiency and transparency.
- Implement best practices and digital tools (e.g., ERP systems, procurement platforms).
- **Team Leadership**:

- Lead and mentor procurement staff (if applicable).
- Ensure the team adheres to timelines, quality standards, and company policies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in procurement, with at least 7 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience in Trading, Contracting, construction, oil & gas, manufacturing... is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contract management, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems: SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications like CIPS, CPM, or PMP are a plus.
