**Civil 3D Modeler Job Responsibilities**:

- Design Development: Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to develop detailed design plans, drawings, and models for various projects, such as buildings, plants, bridges, roads, and other infrastructure.
- CAD Drafting and 3D Modeling: Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) to create precise 2D drawings and 3D models of civil and structural components, including layouts, sections, elevations, and details.
- Building Codes and Standards: Ensure that all design work adheres to relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Quantity Takeoffs: Assist in performing quantity takeoffs and material calculations to support cost estimates and project budgets.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, construction plans, and specifications for use by project teams and contractors.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to coordinate design efforts and integrate civil and structural components seamlessly.
- Site Visits and Assessments: Conduct site visits to gather necessary data and assess existing conditions, contributing to accurate design implementation.
- Quality Assurance: Review and verify designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements and engineering standards.
- Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the engineering team to address design challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry advancements, new CAD & BIM technologies, and best practices to improve design efficiency and quality.

**Civil 3D Modeler Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Civil/Structural Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Tekla Structures, or similar.
- Familiarity with civil and structural engineering principles, construction materials, and methods.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and convey design information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with BIM is a plus.
- Familiarity with geotechnical engineering concepts is advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
