About the role
We are currently looking for an HSE Manager.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

- Coordinate with MM Group on implementation of HSE minimum requirements and procedures
- Ensure that project Quality and HSE plans are effectively implemented by periodic site visits and audits
- Expert in carrying out HSE risk assessment and environment aspect impact analysis for construction sites and offices
- Schedule regular and ad-hoc HSE audits; develop program audit within the organization
- Produce, develop and deliver the Project HSEQ training and HSEQ orientation
- Monitor environmental control activities including waste minimisation, and drive sustainability initiatives
- Development, implementation, and monitoring of HSEQ procedures and policies
- Coordinate incident investigations and report on outcomes
- Ensure that all non-conformances generated during an External/Internal audit are closed out
- Ability to deliver safety practices to ensure zero injury, zero risk, and zero harm
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Health and Safety Management
- Membership of internationally recognized safety association e.g. NEBOSH;
- Hold valid certificate in First Aid/ Hazard Assessment (Entry to confined spaces, underground structures and works)
- Able to advise and supervise in a broad range of safety and health hazard preventions and enforcement to the Contractors and project teams deployed on sites
- Must demonstrate knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental regulations, requirements for construction projects and awareness of all hazards likely to existing construction sites including confined space training
- Monitor and issue a health and safety management system as approved
- Ensure audits of all HSE activities are carried out at monthly intervals, or at such other intervals as the client may require; reports of each such audit shall be shared with the client
- Recommend strategies and plans to remove hazards, reduce its risk of occurrence or mitigate the associated impacts
