**Linum Consult’s client is currently seeking an HSE Specialist with expertise in Electric Vehicle Buses to join their team in Qatar.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Being responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the company’s employees, passengers, and the environment within their EV bus operations
- Developing, implementing and maintaining HSE programmes and initiatives
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and standards
- Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, including training programmes and safety guidelines for employees, contractors and passengers
- Investigating any incidents and accidents involving EV buses, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrences
- Collaborating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure the safe design, operation and maintenance of EV buses, charging infrastructure, and associated facilities

**PROFILE**
- At least 5 years’ experience in HSE management, preferably in the EV or public transportation industry
- Good knowledge of HSE regulations and standards related to electric vehicles, charging infrastructure and public transport
- Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Valid driving license in order to support HSE initiatives at various locations
