Enterprise Solution Architect

Position Overview: As the Enterprise Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design and development of innovative Digital & Cloud transformation solutions for our business customers. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Data Center and Cloud Product Development, you'll be a linchpin in the ICT Product Development Team, bridging the gap between Customers, Sales, and Technical Solutions. Your role will be centered on harmonizing business aspirations with technical ingenuity. In an agile, multicultural environment, whether working independently or collaboratively, you are expected to consistently delivering tangible business outcomes.

Requirements: Your track record should reflect your prowess in architecting intricate solutions for B2B customers within a Service Provider context. Your technical skills should span various domains, encompassing:

- Design of Private/Public/Hybrid cloud architectures
- Crafting strategies for Public cloud migration
- Proficiency in Data Protection Services (Dell, Veeam, Commvault, etc.)
- Expertise in CDN services and Security solutions
- Command over Connectivity (Express Route, Broadband, VPN MPLS, SD WAN, etc.)
- Mastery in REST API with Microservices architecture
- Adeptness in Data architecture and pipelines

Key Responsibilities: Your remit will involve:

- Shaping end-to-end digital & cloud transformation blueprints for enterprise solutions
- Overseeing the execution of digital & cloud solutions, steering strategic planning, migration, and optimization of complex IT landscapes
- Devising the architecture of customer-centric solutions
- Mapping out complete transformation journeys for customers, spanning legacy to cutting-edge technologies
- Estimating resource requirements for implementing solutions, thereby establishing the economic foundation for project sales and delivery
- Crafting technical (HLD, LLD) and sales proposal documents aligning solutions with customer requisites, encompassing data gathered during the sales cycle and pertinent assumptions. Collaboration with Ooredoo Technology and Partners will be essential for solution feasibility assessment (both technical and cost)
- Assuming technical leadership of projects, making profound architectural decisions, and contributing as a team member during delivery
- Displaying adept verbal and written communication skills while articulating the value and relevance of your solutions to customers
- Constructing hosting solutions grounded in Azure, AWS, GCP, VMware, or Private cloud technologies
- Forging connections with Ooredoo’s Technology Partners, leveraging their strengths to enhance customer experiences

Qualifications and Skills Required:

- Minimum of a decade's experience in an Enterprise Solution Architect capacity within a Service Provider setting
- Adeptness in Azure and GCP Networking, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS
- Expertise in Azure, GCP migrations, encompassing Lift & Shift and rehost/refactor strategies
- Sound knowledge of DC and Application Assessment strategies and tools, fortified by hands-on experience
- Proficiency in Application Modernization and Automation
- Prior involvement with Public, Azure, GCP, AWS, VMware technologies
- Experience in architecting solutions for SAP and Oracle
- Proficiency in network/connectivity, security, storage, and backup technologies for crafting bespoke customer solutions
- Track record of leading and managing solutions for significant bids, backed by expertise in constructing cost models
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; Arabic fluency is a plus
- Capacity to thrive under pressure within a dynamic, challenging environment, and adeptness in managing concurrent complex initiatives
- Structured, organized, and effective time-management skills, validated by a history of delivering results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, apt for devising solutions in demanding scenarios
- Proficiency in leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaborative engagement with stakeholders from diverse departments, encompassing IT, business, and executive leadership
- Ability to align technology solutions with overarching business strategies, grounded in a thorough comprehension of the business landscape, identification of opportunities, and proposition of innovative solutions
- Familiarity with data privacy and security standards that impact technology solutions across various sectors

Educational Background:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT/Telecom, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

Certifications:

- Azure Certified Solution Architect
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional (optional)
- Project Management certifications
- Additional certifications are advantageous, including CISSP, Data Center CDCP/CDCE, ML, AI, etc.

**Salary**: QAR15,000.00 - QAR25,000.00 per month
