Payroll Specialist

**Responsibilities**:
- **Process Payroll**:
- Manage and process bi-weekly, monthly, or other payroll cycles, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- **Time and Attendance Management**:
Review and verify employee timesheets or time-tracking systems to ensure accuracy. Address any discrepancies or issues related to attendance or overtime.
- **Payroll Calculation**:
Calculate wages, salaries, bonuses, commissions, and deductions (taxes, benefits, retirement plans, etc.). Ensure that all deductions are correct according to legal and company requirements.Process employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement contributions, and other perks, and ensure proper deductions are made.Generate and analyze payroll reports (e.g., summaries, tax reports, and labor costs) for management and regulatory purposes.Address employee questions regarding their pay, deductions, or benefits in a professional and timely manner.Ensure that employee payroll records are up to date and accurately maintained, including tax forms, direct deposit information, and benefits enrollment.Assist with year-end payroll tasks such as preparing and distributing W-2 forms and other required documents for employees.Perform audits of payroll data and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance with legal requirements, and alignment with company policies.Work closely with the HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth integration of payroll data with other systems (HRIS, ERP, etc.). Assist with budgeting and forecasting labor costs.**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Relevant certifications, such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), are a plus.
- **Experience**:
At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or related accounting/finance role. Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks), timekeeping systems, and applicable payroll tax laws. Preferably **Immediate Joiner.**
- **Knowledge**:
- **Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and issues
- Excellent in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
