Senior UI/UX and Graphic Designer (Part-Time, Remote work, Immediate Start) QMotor.com is the leading motoring website in Qatar. We are looking for a Digital Graphic Designer to join our team (Part-Time, Remote work, Immediate Start) Please share this with your network. Responsibilities: - Design effective campaigns that meet brand excellence standards for social and digital channels. - Iterate new design options within an established design system and create new design templates. - Articulate design rationale to other team members in a concise and professional manner, and engage in giving & receiving constructive feedback. - Tests Web sites and applications in various environments to ensure optimal user experience and proper functioning while optimizing code/script overhead. Must be able to identify and correct CSS and cross-browser compatibility issues. - Meet the needs of our team through creative brief review, ideation, layout development and design. - Conduct imagery research and photo-editing. - Creating and refining website and application screen wireframes and mockups. - Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications. - Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider digital creative community. - Communicate design concepts and strategies, verbally and visually, and engage in giving & receiving constructive feedback. - Understand and translate business goals and promotions into visually compelling layouts and online user experiences. - Prepare website wireframes, storyboards, user/process flows, site maps, visitor personas, site mockups and site design concepts as required. - Prepare email templates for maximum impact. Basic Qualifications: - BA or BS degree in a related field. - 3+ years of experience with creating social media graphics, including static and animated gifs, infographics, and brand templates and print and video, individually and as part of larger marketing campaigns. - Experience with creating high-quality visual design deliverables, including those related to social media platforms, mobile user-interfaces, and responsive Web sites. - Experience in working with popular social media channels, including Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, and Twitter. - Experience with designing for high-visibility campaigns, Web sites, and applications. - Experience with Adobe Creative Suite. - Experience with applying user-centered design principles and best practices. Additional Qualifications: - Experience with federal Web design guidelines and standards for user-interface designs, including accessibility and Section 508 compliance. - Experience with creating data visualization graphics for social media and Web sites a plus. - Experience with working within tight deadlines. - Knowledge of Code websites, landing pages, etc. using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. - Knowledge of current design trends in social media, Web, and mobile technologies. - Ability to be organized and detail-oriented. - Ability to react quickly and efficiently to last minute briefs on tight deadlines, and to juggle / manage a range of projects - and your own time - effectively.
