Head of Contracts - Doha, Qatar - Permanent ARM is actively recruiting for a Head of Contracts to join a major shipping and maritime company based in Doha, Qatar. Our client provides a comprehensive spectrum of maritime solutions to meet the needs of all types of vessels. **Responsibilities** - Sourcing and identifying suitable subcontractors and maintain a list of approved subcontractors. - Securing subcontractors for project as required by end users. - Evaluation of performance of subcontractors. - Formulate policies and strategies to manage the sub-contracting, - Performs relevant elements of contract review. - Assesses and negotiate sub-contractors quotations and bills. - Plans and assigns project to Contracting Officers. - Approves work orders. **Requirements**: - Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Instrumentation Engineering. Alternatively, a Degree in Business or Supply Chain. - Shipyard, Oil & Gas, or process industry experience. - Strong understanding of contract management and tendering. - Managerial experience - Knowledge of Qatari law.
