Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Valve Testing & ServicingPerform testing, calibration, repair, and overhaul of SRV, PRV, VRV, and various types of Control Valves (manual, pneumatic, and actuated).Conduct hydrostatic, pneumatic, functional, and seat leak tests in accordance with standards such as API 527, API 598, API 2000, API 576, and ASME Sec VIII.Operate online testing machines for in-line valve testing and pressure setting verification without removal from pipelines.Use and maintain modern test benches, calibration tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.

Standards & DocumentationFollow and implement API, ASME, ISO, and manufacturer guidelines during testing and inspection.Prepare accurate and complete test reports, calibration certificates, NCRs, and valve service records.Ensure all activities comply with project ITPs, QA/QC procedures, and client specifications.

Troubleshooting & Technical SupportIdentify and resolve issues during testing such as valve seat leakage, actuator malfunction, or calibration discrepancies.Recommend corrective actions and part replacements when necessary.Support client and TPI queries during FAT/SAT and inspections.

Team Coordination & SupervisionCoordinate effectively with QA/QC departments, Third-Party Inspectors (TPI), and client representatives.Train and guide junior technicians on safe work practices, testing procedures, documentation, and valve operation.Monitor and ensure proper use of testing equipment and tools by team members. ⚠ Safety & QualityComply with all HSE guidelines, safety permits, and quality assurance procedures during work execution.Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure workshop safety compliance.
- Strong hands-on experience in SRV, PRV, VRV, and Control Valve testing and calibration.
- Ability to perform in-line valve testing and troubleshooting under pressure during shutdowns or critical operations.Strong documentation and report preparation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, QA/QC teams, and TPIs
- Ability to train and mentor junior technicians. Preferred Qualifications:Technical Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.Certifications in API, NDT, or Valve Diagnostics Tools will be an added advantage.Experience working with major clients such as QatarEnergy, Aramco, ADNOC, or KOC is a plus.

Total Pay : 2000 + Accomodation + Transportation

Pay: QAR2,000.00 per month
