**Key Responsibilities**:
**Machine Setup and Operation**:

- Set up and operate CNC machines and other woodworking machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, milling, and shaping wood and other materials.
- Understand and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate production of components.
- Translate instructions into computer commands to program CNC machines for specific operations.

**CAD Drawing Generation**:

- Generate detailed CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other industry-standard CAD/CAM software.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure that CAD drawings accurately reflect the required specifications and design intent.
- Convert CAD drawings into machine-readable code (G-code) for CNC machine operation.

**Quality Control**:

- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct test runs to verify that machines are producing outputs according to requirements.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality and resolve any issues that arise during operation.

**Maintenance and Safety**:

- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines and other equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep detailed records of machine operations, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.

**Material Handling**:

- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines.
- Ensure that materials are handled and stored correctly to prevent damage and ensure efficient workflow.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with other team members, including engineers and production supervisors, to optimize production processes and resolve any operational issues.
- Communicate effectively to ensure that production goals are met and any concerns are addressed promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in engineering, CNC operation, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CNC/Machine Operator in a joinery or carpentry factory setting. Apprenticeship or on-the-job training is highly beneficial.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and other woodworking equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
- Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in generating CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other industry-standard CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to convert CAD drawings into machine-readable code (G-code) for CNC machine operation.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and handle tools and equipment.
