**PRIMARY **purpose**
Supervise the daily man power allocation and the operations for assigned shift in plant’s instrument maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and repair of pipeline’s pneumatic, hydraulic control systems such as control valves, actuators, recorders, measuring and recording located on the various plant sites and pipeline network system in order to ensure availability, maintainability, reliability and efficiency.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Organize and supervise the activities and work of maintenance technicians to ensure that all work within the assigned team is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy. Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development.
- Prepare and carry out periodic job plans that include PMs, functional checks, and pipeline network change activities. Prepare and obtain permit to work (PTW) based on the periodic job plans, allocate work and conduct toolbox meeting to ensure understanding of the daily work tasks. Ensure timely completion and proper close out of the permits for restoring the equipment to normal operation.
- Supervise and also conduct hands on day-to-day operations of instrument maintenance related to plant, network and downstream operational facilities as per department directives and requirements to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established standards, procedures, codes and practices and that appropriate techniques are used.
- Undertake the required initiatives in order to effectively estimate man hour requirements, plan work schedules, assign and direct subordinates and attend work site during installation, maintenance and repair of instrument equipment associated with facilities and systems.
- Supervise and participate in preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance, and testing of all network electrical instrument, and electronic equipment.
- Assist in preparing procedures, methods statement, and carries out risk assessment exercise to support effective maintenance activities as per defined guidelines.
- Prepare spare parts list for all instrument equipment especially critical equipment and issue the purchase/material requisitions for approval of superior to support timely availability of parts on time and in an accurate manner.
- Ensure adherence of self and team with Dolphin Energy’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and also promote awareness of its use among all assigned personnel.
- Update the equipment data, history and maintenance records in ‘CMMS’ and SAP system for timely availability of up to date information.
- Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by management.
