**Descripción del Trabajo**

Preparar y cocinar la comida de acuerdo con las recetas, los estándares de calidad y de presentación y la lista de control para la preparación de los alimentos. Preparar los ingredientes para cocinar, por ejemplo, dividir los alimentos en porciones, picarlos y almacenarlos antes de usarlos. Utilizar de manera segura y adecuada las herramientas, los equipos y los electrodomésticos para medir y hornear, para preparar comidas al horno. Seguir y garantizar el cumplimiento de las políticas y los procedimientos de seguridad para la manipulación de alimentos, incluidos los procedimientos de higiene personal. Comprobar y asegurarse de que la temperatura de los electrodomésticos de cocina y de los alimentos sea la correcta e informar a la gerencia cualquier problema. Lavar y desinfectar el área de la cocina; establecer y dividir los puestos de trabajo, así como también seguir y cumplir con los procedimientos de higiene y limpieza. Vigilar la calidad de la comida que se prepara y de las porciones que se sirven durante toda la jornada de trabajo.

Cumplir con todas las políticas y los procedimientos de la compañía incluida la seguridad; informar al gerente los accidentes, las lesiones y las condiciones laborales inseguras; llevar a cabo capacitaciones y certificaciones completas de seguridad. Asegurarse de que el uniforme y la apariencia personal sean pulcros y profesionales, mantener la confidencialidad de la información patentada y proteger los bienes de la compañía. Hablar con los demás utilizando un lenguaje claro y profesional y atender los teléfonos utilizando el protocolo adecuado. Cultivar y mantener relaciones laborales positivas con los demás y apoyar al equipo para alcanzar los objetivos comunes. Acatar las expectativas y los estándares de calidad. Mover, levantar, transportar, empujar, arrastrar y ubicar sin ayuda objetos que pesen 25 libras o menos. Trasladarse por superficies inclinadas, irregulares o resbalosas.
