**Senior Irrigation Engineer**

**Doha, Qatar**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Irrigation Engineer** to join our team In this role you will get to **develop sustainable infrastructure projects and create interconnected communities and world-class infrastructure.**

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Performs a variety of assignments such as conducting landscape irrigation studies, developing design concepts, design criteria and preparing related reports. Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.

- Develops design solutions and prepares high quality presentation drawings with the assistance of other team members.

- Provides technical guidance to CADD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.

- Prepares technical packages from concept design, through detailed design to tender and contract documentation.

- Prepares reports, submissions, and responses to client comments.

- Presentations to clients and various government agencies for approval.

- Provides leadership. support and production assistance to team members.

- Completes other duties as assigned.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Civil or Agricultural Engineering** from a recognized university.

- Minimum **10+**years relevant landscape irrigation design experience.

- Preferably with the design work experience in Qatar, UAE, KSA or Middle East.

- **UPDA/MME/MMUP Certification or**ability to obtain is necessary.

- Proficient in utilizing AutoCAD / Civil 3D.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

- Proficient in Irrigation/FX.

- Shall be a self-motivated individual who is able to take responsibility and demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks and design skills.

- Ability to write technical documents and correspondence.

- Good spoken and written English language is necessary.

**Additional Skills**:

- Able to demonstrate ability to lead and undertake the above responsibilities independently.

- The incumbent at this level is required to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in developing original designs and is proficient in the utilization of standard landscape irrigation techniques.
