Facility Maintenance Engineer

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Develop plans and proposals regarding periodic, preventive, corrective or complementary maintenance under the supervision and direction of the Maintenance In-charge at Client.
- Updating inventory and reporting of equipment and stock in warehouses.
- Follow up Weekly or semi-weekly or monthly for spare parts and consumable materials, maintaining the minimum stock, etc.
- Determine the objectives and goals of the Maintenance and Operations Department, and prepare and implement regulations, procedures, quality control programs, safety and environmental levels, and work performance standards based on the systems and standards approved by the Client and the relevant government agencies.
- Supervising contractors, directing and monitoring the performance of their work, and verifying the progress of the required work based on the agreements and contracts concluded and approved by the Client.
- Participate in and supervise the budget required to operate the center, including current expenses, and recommend its approval, and ensure that the administration operates within the limits of this budget.
- Supervising contractors and workers in implementing engineering maintenance and operation plans in the center according to periodic, preventive, corrective, emergency or agreed upon maintenance programs, as well as maintaining devices and equipment, so that they are in good, fully operational condition.
- Ensure that contractors provide the necessary equipment, machinery and spare parts for maintenance and operation.
- Supervising the preparation of specifications, standards and technical contracts for maintenance and operation.
- Develop a plan to supervise major maintenance and new repairs.
- Act as a link between the center, contractors and consulting offices during maintenance and operations.
- Reviewing the work completed in relation to the maintenance, operation and major repairs of devices and equipment and their safety before handling them for operation.
- Supervising faults that need to be repaired, assigning workers to repair or maintain them, and continuing implementation.
- Participate in developing solutions and renovation plans at the center level and prepare a list of required maintenance needs.
- Supervising the preparation of technical studies and preparing data and statistics related to maintenance.
- Supervise the organization, arrangement and maintenance of equipment operating manuals and maintenance and operating records.
- Participate in developing training plans and programs for maintenance and operation activities and follow up on their implementation.
- Inspecting buildings and external spaces and ensuring their maintenance in accordance with the applicable technical regulations agreed upon and approved by the relevant departments.
- Familiarity with how to operate the firefighting and fire alarm system and knowledge of the procedures required to deal with and supervise the various systems.
- Performing other similar tasks if requested and finding solutions for them.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Engineering
- Valid Qatar Driving license.
- Must be Arabic nationality or fluent in written and oral in both Arabic and English languages.

**Practical Experience**:

- Practical experience of no less than 5 years in facility maintenance out of which at least 1 year experience is in Qatar.

**Knowledge and Capabilities**:

- Knowledge in Facility Management.
- Proficiency in using computers.
- Knowledge in technical terms in English language.
- Basic knowledge in using Word & Excel.
- Must be fluent in written and oral in both Arabic and English languages.

**Working Hours**:

- The timings are from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., six (6) days a week from Saturday to Thursday

**Other Requirements**
- Must be in Qatar and Arabic speaking

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
