About the role:
You will be responsible for managing and supervising the Aircraft Appearance operation for all aircrafts during the shift to achieve the highest level of services and quality to QR and other customer airlines, as well as monitoring the on time performance of aircraft Appearance operations. Manage Cleaning equipment, Vehicles and manpower distribution. Maintain effective reporting systems for the department. Maintain quality standards of the aircraft appearance operations. During the shift act as liaison officer between QR Tech Engineers, airline representatives, and QAS Departments.

You will also be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Act as main planner for required manpower and other resources in case of operational disruption, plan & monitor changes by coordinating with Roster Management System team and if required use the manual allocation and communicate the requirements to all relevant stakeholders to maintain On Time Performance.
- Plan and mange aircraft appearance team members to perform the Interior and exterior Aircraft cleaning activities day to day during aircraft turnaround, weekly, Aircraft Maintenance Check for all number of aircrafts during the shift, in the highest aircraft cleaning standards as per QR other airlines /QAS standards.
- Manage available work force in the shift to maximize productivity, whilst maintaining sufficient resources to meet demand of schedules.
- Monitoring and ensure the Safe and on-time performance of aircraft cabin cleaning operations on a shift basis. Ensure the compliance to SOP’s by the Cabin Appearance Department. Ensure the Agreed Service Level of QR and Customer Airlines is maintained at all times. Any deviation to be highlighted on shift basis.
- Any accident/incident occurred during the shift, ensure to follow the reporting hierarchy and record all the details for the follow up investigation as and when required.
- Compile report with relevant and adequate details explaining the challenges and/or irregularities faced during the shift and a heads up for the upcoming shift Officer.

**Qualifications**:
About the role:

- Command of English language
- Knowledge of operational requirement
- Working knowledge of Airport communication system
- Awareness of ground handling and safe aircraft handling procedures
- Computer Literate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinates’ skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.

Preferred
- Valid Qatari Driving License
- 2+ years of Cabin Appearance experience
