Manages online learning communities.
- Demonstrate current, effect and applied knowledge and skills related to teaching and learning.
- Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments.
- Work with other CETL Instructional Design specialists to design and produce e-learning materials.
- Develop and articulate instructional goals and objectives and design compelling learning activities and materials that facilitates their attainment.
- Create instructional multimedia materials to support teaching goals and learning objectives.
- Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and learning contexts.
- Creatively combine proven and emergent instructional design theories, practices, tools, and methods to create best-of-breed learning experiences.
- Develop exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Assist faculty in the development of criteria and the evaluation instruments used to judge learner’s performance at Qatar University.
- Work cooperatively within a team.

Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications Master degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar.
- English is required.

Arabic is an asset

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years demonstrated working experience in instructional designs,
- Familiarity with the production process and tools needed to create audio and video files for use on campus and online.
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional-design models.
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
