**About the role**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy BHS Operator to manage allocation and planning of baggage handling resource usages for safe and efficient baggage handling operation from customer experience, OTP, and equipment, systems and facilities availability and reliability perspectives. Responsible for providing procedural, and clerical support to the Duty Manager on a shift basis.

**Key responsibilities**

On a shift basis and within the assigned areas:

- Generate and update baggage handling resource allocation plan as needed.
- Monitors the actual operation and performs needed changes to the planned allocation based on operational requirements in real time.
- Coordinate with BH Supervisors to resolve problems related to baggage handling resource allocation. Identify and escalate risks and/or operational deficiencies, and implements effective solutions.
- Ensure to escalate to the line Manager on the necessary modifications or enhancements by providing supporting justifications to the processes, facilities and systems relating to baggage handling and hold baggage screening operations.
- Provide appropriate data and rules into BHS (Baggage Handling Systems) Simulation Models and conduct evaluation and analysis of the Simulation reports.
- Liaise between HIA, appointed sub-contractors, the handling company and carriers, HIA departments, and relevant stakeholders to optimize baggage handling resource allocation and to ensure seamless operations and coordinate to ensure downtime is planned with minimum impact. Monitors contracting staff to ensure safe operation of all baggage handling equipment and systems including ancillary facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedure for baggage handling and related facilities by coordinating with contractors-and other relevant stakeholders.
- Generate, compile and consolidate baggage handling operations and maintenance shift statistical data reports for troubleshooting and planning purpose.
- Ensure production of incident reports, shift reports, and safety reports for HIA management team.
- Responsible for the allocation and planning of baggage handling resource usages for safe and efficient baggage handling operation from customer experience, OTP, and equipment, systems and facilities availability and reliability perspectives.
- In coordination with the handling company, carriers and BHS O&M contractor, ensure overall optimized baggage handling process through resource allocation and usage.
- Ensure that management instructions, company policies, and standard operating procedures are followed and implemented.
- Provide supervision in the BHS Control Room.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

**Qualifications**

**About you**:

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with minimum 3 years of job-related experience. in Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics or relevant technical field.
- Relevant experience in a similar role in similar sized airport with in-line hold baggage screening system.
- Experience with BHS Simulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Basic knowledge of IATA requirement related to baggage handling operation.
- Microsoft SQL Certification.
