Asset Management Leader

**Description**:
We are looking for a dynamic Asset Management Leader to join our team for a major 5-year consulting program with a public sector organization dedicated to the operation and maintenance of roads and drainage assets. The Asset Management Leader will report directly to the Program Director and will be responsible for leading a combined consulting and client team on transformational asset management projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- \tLeadership & Team Management
- \tLead and motivate a cross-functional team of consultants and client staff focused on asset management initiatives.
- \tFoster collaboration and ensure effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
- \tProject Development & Execution
- \tDesign and implement asset management strategies that enhance the performance and sustainability of roads and drainage assets.
- \tOversee the execution of transformational projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
- \tMonitor project progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- \tStakeholder Engagement
- \tCollaborate closely with client stakeholders to identify asset management needs and opportunities for improvement.
- \tPrepare and present project updates, reports, and recommendations to the Program Director and client executives.
- \tContinuous Improvement & Innovation
- \tStay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in asset management.
- \tFacilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance the capabilities of the client team in asset management practices.

**Qualifications**:
Experience
- \tMinimum of 15 years of experience in asset management, preferably within the roads or drainage sectors.
- \tProven experience leading transformational projects and managing cross-functional teams.

Education
- \tBachelor’s degree from a recognized university in the USA, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand. A Master’s degree is preferred.

- \tStrong leadership and team-building skills.
- \tExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- \tProficient in asset management principles and practices.
- \tExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Skills
- \tArabic language skills are preferred but not essential.
