**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation**:

- Analyze tender documentation to identify project requirements and scope.
- Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
- **Quantity Takeoff**:

- Conduct quantity takeoffs from project drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate quantity assessments.
- **Vendor and Supplier Negotiations**:

- Obtain competitive quotes from vendors and suppliers for materials and services.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- **Cost Database Management**:

- Maintain and update a comprehensive database of costs for materials, labor rates, and other relevant expenses.
- Utilize historical cost data to enhance accuracy in future estimations.
- **Risk Assessment**:

- Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop risk mitigation strategies.
- **Collaboration with Technical Teams**:

- Work closely with technical teams, including engineers and architects, to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Ensure that technical considerations are appropriately reflected in cost estimates.
- **Tender Documentation Preparation**:

- Prepare and contribute to the technical and financial sections of tender documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of technical and financial information.
- **Deadline Adherence**:

- Work efficiently to meet tender submission deadlines.
- Coordinate with various teams to gather necessary information in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in [relevant field], or equivalent experience.
