Primary Purpose of the Job:
The postholder will be responsible for the coordination of the activities of the assigned Fleet Group to ensure the QatarEnergy chartered LNG fleet provides safe, reliable, and efficient transportation of LNG.

Required Experience and Skills:
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years’ experience in oil/gas marine operations/transportation.
- Knowledgeable of vessel operations, principles of navigation and related systems, technical aspects of vessel repairs and technical operation.
- Knowledgeable in LNG marine loading utilities, facilities and berth requirements.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of SHE standards and requirements as they relate to the oil/gas/shipping industries and the marine environment.
- Good insight of LNG Time Charter Party requirements and obligations of both Charterer and Owners.

Technical and Business Skills
- Ability to analyze and identify vessel performance related problems on assigned LNG vessels.
- Proficient written and spoken English with good skills in technical report writing.
- Competent in the use of databases and spreadsheets.
- Knowledgeable in power point presentations.
- Inter-cultural skills with understanding of the business practices and protocols of different cultures.

Educational Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Marine / Shipping
