**Database Administrator Job Responsibilities**:

- Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain databases related to AVIVA E3D and CAD Works software. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of these databases.
- Data Migration: Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to AVIVA E3D and CAD Works databases, ensuring seamless and accurate transfer.
- Database Performance: Monitor database performance and identify opportunities for optimization. Implement performance tuning strategies to enhance system efficiency.
- Security and Access Control: Enforce data security and access controls to safeguard sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data is protected and can be restored in case of system failures.
- Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and resolve database-related issues, working closely with IT teams and software vendors if necessary.
- Data Integrity and Validation: Develop and implement data validation checks to maintain data integrity and accuracy within AVIVA E3D and CAD Works databases.
- User Training and Support: Provide training and support to users on database-related functionalities and troubleshooting techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand their database requirements and optimize database structures accordingly.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest database management best practices and technologies, recommending improvements to enhance database performance and usability.

**Database Administrator Required Qualification**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- With 5+ Years of experience in GCC projects.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with expertise in managing databases related to AVIVA E3D and CAD Works software.
- Proficiency in database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of AVIVA E3D and CAD Works software and their database requirements.
- Familiarity with database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in database management.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders and provide user support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Experience in working with engineering data and models is advantageous

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
