**Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Plumbing and Firefighting)-Grade A**

Qualification -Mechanical Engineering

Experience - 10+ years of experience

Location - Doha, Qatar

**Job Accountabilities**:

- Experience in knowledge of firefighting ,Plumbing ,irrigation and medical gases ,fueling systems and a successful track record of delivering detailed designs to the highest international standards.
- Develop the design criteria, which would define the requirements the systems would be required to deliver.
- Develop conceptual design and preliminary design documents, which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, the development of schematic Diagrams and Utility Systems Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), and general arrangements.
- Develop final design documents including specification and final construction documents
- Supervise and manage multiple clients and sub-contractors for applicable phases of projects.
- Understands multi-disciplinary design processes.
- Developing sustainable building services designs on numerous major projects including commercial, residential, tall tower, Infrastructure and mixed-use developments.
- Have thorough knowledge of codes related to the design.
- Have thorough knowledge of firefighting software program i.e. Elite, Pipe Net, CAD, Revit.
- Ensure that the documents meet the Municipal, Company and client standards/ protocols.
- Be self-motivated in attaining position objectives and in seeking new responsibilities and challenges.
- Exhibit drive, attitude, and enthusiasm.
- Prioritize and plan work activities for self-management and use time efficiently.
- Review and resolve any issues related to team members.
- Ensure that Company and client standards and protocol are followed.
- Ensure that Municipality and Governmental standards and protocol are followed.
- Oversee and resolve the various design issues during all phases.
- Prepare, present, or participate in seminars or symposiums.
